Amir Orjani immigrated to the United States from Irbid, Jordan, in 2008 with a vision of building a better future for himself and his family. As the first in his family to make this journey, he laid the foundation for his wife, Lina, and their three children to join him in 2017 and 2018.

Before arriving in the United States, Amir lived and worked in several countries, including Malaysia and Dubai. Despite his academic background, his credentials did not transfer to the American system, requiring him to begin again from the ground up. Like many immigrants, he took on multiple jobs, often working 85 to 90 hours per week, demonstrating extraordinary determination and commitment to achieving the American Dream.

Through perseverance and hard work, Amir built a successful entrepreneurial path in Connecticut, establishing businesses including food trucks, convenience stores, and gas stations. Over the past 17 years, he has contributed meaningfully to the local economy while creating opportunities for others.

Amir is widely recognized for his leadership within the Jordanian, Arab, and broader immigrant communities in Greater Hartford and New Haven. He has created employment opportunities for many immigrants, often serving as a first step toward their own economic stability and success. Known for treating his employees with respect and care, he has fostered supportive environments that reflect his strong values of family and community.

Beyond his business achievements, Amir has been actively engaged in community life. He has supported cultural and religious events through local mosques, contributed to fundraising efforts, and sponsored youth initiatives that encourage leadership and entrepreneurship. He has also opened his home to newly arrived immigrants, helping them establish themselves and build a future.
