Aicha Ly
Aicha Ly brings a strong foundation in community engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and mission-driven work to her role as a Board Member of the Connecticut Immigrant and Refugee Coalition (CIRC). With a background spanning several industries, she is skilled at building relationships across diverse communities, communicating clearly, and navigating fast-paced, people-centered environments. Her work reflects an analytical yet compassionate approach to program support, organizational coordination, and community engagement.
A lifelong Connecticut resident and first-generation American with roots in the Sahel region of Africa, Aicha offers a deeply informed and personal perspective on the experiences of immigrant communities. She is passionate about the intersections of people, policy, profit, and purpose, and has developed a growing track record in research, partnership cultivation, and stakeholder engagement centered on mission-aligned investing, policy, and community impact.
In addition to her work with CIRC, Aicha serves as an Advisory Board member for Envest Microfinance, where she provides strategic, culturally responsive insight to advance inclusive and sustainable financial development on an international scale. She is also continuing her higher education with a focus on impact and finance, further strengthening her ability to contribute to community-focused initiatives.
In her spare time, Aicha enjoys martial arts & spending time with her loved ones - including her cat.
